Senior officers on the move to town

TWO SENIOR police officers are coming to live in Oban.

Inspector Mark Stephen told Oban community council: ‘ An officer from Aberdeen and one from Fife are both moving back to the area.

‘Under a national police force we can cast our net far and wide to recruit staff.

‘ This makes it easier to encourage people to come to Oban.’
