OWNERS of a dog which has a terminal illness ticked ‘ watching a sunset over Calgary Bay’ off his ‘ bucket list’ last week.

‘Angus’ lives with Dawn and Allan Birse in Motherwell but made the trip to the island to enjoy the sunset and stayed at a hotel in Dervaig.

The couple drew up a list of 15 things to do with the large Bernese mountain dog, which is suffering from liver cancer and has been given only one month to live.

The Snow Factor at Braehead, Glasgow, recently allowed the couple to bring Angus onto the snow.
