We are all horrified by this greeddriven, mass murder of folk escaping from the hell of barrel bombing in Syria.
Yet the idea of offering sanctuary to those who have survived the terrors of the journey to arrive in Europe seems to contradict any sympathy we feel for the corpses found in the lorry, or the thousands who have
