Drawing up action plan for refugees

THE first meeting of the Argyll and Bute refugee resettlement group will take place tomorrow Friday, September 18.

The local authority will get together with its partner agencies to draw up an action plan on how Syrian refugees can be resettled in the region.

The council previously announced that it would welcome at least 20 refugee families to Argyll and Bute.
