Left town to keep away from trouble
A FORMER Oban man has been fined for hurling abuse and threatening the police.
Michael Duncan, 22, formerly of Glencruitten Drive, but who now lives in Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to threatening and abusive behaviour and resisting arrest on Boxing Day last year, when he appeared at Oban sheriff court on Tuesday.
Fining Duncan £500, Sheriff Ruth Anderson said she was glad Duncan had left the area in an attempt to stay out of trouble, adding: ‘I don’t want to see you back in any court.’
