Cash boost for dog trust

-

LOCHABER and District Canine Society (LDCS) raised £ 633 for national charity, the Retired Greyhound Trust.

The money was raised through the annual companion show, as well as four summer dog walks, which club members paid a small donation to attend. Each event was considered a ‘huge success’ by the organisers.

The LDCS, which nominates a chosen charity to raise funds for each year, thanked club members and the public for their support and generosity. The club get together for training classes every Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Nevis Centre and is open to all levels of experience.
