Charlie cheques in with £520

A CANCER sufferer from Fort William has thanked the Macmillan cancer nurses for the support they have given him during his illness.

Charlie MacColl presented a £ 520 cheque to Macmillan senior nurse, Derek McBride, at the town’s Belford hospital in the hope it can be used to support other people with cancer in Lochaber.

The money was raised through ceilidhs organised by other local people on behalf of Mr MacColl.
