Purchase a permit before loch fishing

WATER bailiffs and police carried out patrols on the River Awe following reports of illegal fishing on the loch.

Sergeant Gary Brown of Oban Police office said: ‘People should make sure they have a permit to fish. Permits can be purchased in various locations, including shops around Loch Awe.’
