Slow progress on fast food outlet

-

THERE has still been no progress made to build a KFC in Fort William, despite the original aim to open in 2015.

Planning permission for the fast food restaurant was approved in August last year but, when approached this week by the Oban Times about when work would start, a spokesman for the food chain remained tight-lipped.

When planning permission was granted, a spokesman said the restaurant would be open in 2015. A KFC spokesman said: ‘ There is no update on the start date for construction or expected opening date.’
