Woman accused of car theft

A WOMAN has been charged for allegedly stealing a car in Connel. The 39-year- old was arrested in the early hours of Monday, October 21, after police were informed she had taken the vehicle without the owner’s permission from an address in the village. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

POLICE have charged an Oban man for allegedly breaching his bail conditions. The 39-yearold was arrested in the Glengallan area of the town in the afternoon of Monday, October 21, when officers found him to be in possession of what they believe was a class B drug. Railway trespass warning

dangers of trespassing on the railway line.

Over the last two weeks, officers have received reports of youths seen on the railway in the Soroba area of the town. In one incident, a child’s bike was left on the line.
