Woman accused of car theft
A WOMAN has been charged for allegedly stealing a car in Connel. The 39-year- old was arrested in the early hours of Monday, October 21, after police were informed she had taken the vehicle without the owner’s permission from an address in the village. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

POLICE have charged an Oban man for allegedly breaching his bail conditions. The 39-yearold was arrested in the Glengallan area of the town in the afternoon of Monday, October 21, when officers found him to be in possession of what they believe was a class B drug. A report will now be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Breach of the peace allegation
A TEENAGER has been arrested for an alleged breach of the peace offence in Oban. The 16-year- old girl was arrested in the early hours of Sunday, October 25, in the Glencruitten area of the town. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal. OBAN police are warning of the
Railway trespass warning
dangers of trespassing on the railway line.
Over the last two weeks, officers have received reports of youths seen on the railway in the Soroba area of the town. In one incident, a child’s bike was left on the line.
