Woman accused of car theft

A WOMAN has been charged for allegedly stealing a car in Connel. The 39-year- old was arrested in the early hours of Monday, October 21, after police were informed she had taken the vehicle without the owner’s permission from an address in the village. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

Report sent to procurator fiscal

POLICE have charged an Oban man for allegedly breaching his bail conditions. The 39-yearold was arrested in the Glengallan area of the town in the afternoon of Monday, October 21, when officers found him to be in possession of what they believe was a class B drug. A report will now be sent to the procurator fiscal.

Breach of the peace allegation

A TEENAGER has been arrested for an alleged breach of the peace offence in Oban. The 16-year- old girl was arrested in the early hours of Sunday, October 25, in the Glencruitt­en area of the town. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal. OBAN police are warning of the

Railway trespass warning

dangers of trespassin­g on the railway line.

Over the last two weeks, officers have received reports of youths seen on the railway in the Soroba area of the town. In one incident, a child’s bike was left on the line.
