Mow­ing along nicely at Taynuilt

TAYNUILT Sports Coun­cil was de­lighted to re­ceive a gen­er­ous grant award from Awards for All Scot­land.

Us­ing the award, for £9,995, and with help from lo­cal busi­nesses, the sports coun­cil has bought a trac­tor and mower to main­tain and im­prove the pitch at Taynuilt.

Th­ese new ad­di­tions se­cure the long-term fu­ture of main­tain­ing the field.

Fraser Inglis of Taynuilt Sports Coun­cil, said: ‘We have been re­liant on help from the golf club in main­tain­ing the field over the last num­ber of years and the sports coun­cil would like to ac­knowl­edge and thank them for their help. The sports fa­cil­i­ties at Taynuilt are be­ing well used and it is vi­tal we have the equip­ment to en­sure they are at a high stan­dard.

‘The fact Awards for All Scot­land has re­warded the sports coun­cil with such sub­stan­tial sup­port is great mo­ti­va­tion for our com­mit­tee.’
