Mowing along nicely at Taynuilt

TAYNUILT Sports Council was delighted to receive a generous grant award from Awards for All Scotland.

Using the award, for £9,995, and with help from local businesses, the sports council has bought a tractor and mower to maintain and improve the pitch at Taynuilt.

These new additions secure the long-term future of maintaining the field.

Fraser Inglis of Taynuilt Sports Council, said: ‘We have been reliant on help from the golf club in maintaining the field over the last number of years and the sports council would like to acknowledge and thank them for their help. The sports facilities at Taynuilt are being well used and it is vital we have the equipment to ensure they are at a high standard.

‘The fact Awards for All Scotland has rewarded the sports council with such substantial support is great motivation for our committee.’
