ADDRESSING the monthly Constituency Association meeting of Argyll and Bute SNP, MP Brendan O’Hara welcomed Scottish Labour’s U-turn on Trident renewal.

Mr O’Hara, who lives in Helens- burgh, said he looked forward to working with his Labour counterpart in Helensburgh, Jackie Baillie, in the fight to stop the UK government spending billions on new weapons of mass destruction.

Mr O’ Hara said: ‘Labour’s decision is welcome and despite our long-standing and continuing political differences I look forward to campaigning with Jackie Baillie against this obscene waste of money.’
