Piano sisters take to St John’s stage

A LIVELY piano duo will be entertaining members of the Oban Music Society and visitors to St John’s Cathedral on Sunday November 8.

The Bibby Piano Duo are sisters Nicola and Alexandra Bibby, who play on one piano. They have travelled widely in Britain and abroad, where they have been acclaimed as ‘a fine partnership who produce a canvas of fluid and ravishing sounds’.

Their programme on Sunday will include well-known pieces such as Carnival of the Animals and the less-familiar Suite by York Bowen, an English pianist in the romantic tradition.

The concert starts at 3pm November 8 with tickets on sale at the door.
