Caberfeidh 2 Aberdeen University 4

Aberdeen University saw off third-placed Caberfeidh reserves with a 4-2 win in their noon throw up at a wet Castle Leod.

The playing conditions were difficult and the students weren’t given time to settle as Stuart Kryzanowski put Cabers ahead after just two minutes.

Alex Duncan equalised on 15 minutes and the contest remained level until the break.

Kenny Cushnie put the Aberdeen side ahead for the first time three minutes into the second-half but a Colin MacLennan goal made it 2-2 with just 15 minutes remaining.

The heavy rain was making it difficult for both sets of players but Aberdeen University dug deep and Ewan Fraser on 80 minutes and a second goal from Alex Duncan three minutes from time gave them a 4-2 win which maintains their 100 per cent league record and puts them two points clear at the top of the table.

Glengarry 6 Strathspey Camanachd 1

Fifth-placed Glengarry beat Strathspey Camanachd 6-1 at Craigard.

’Garry’s Steven Cameron scored on 16 and 38 minutes to put the home side 2- 0 ahead. When referee Martin MacLean pointed to the penalty spot on the stroke of half time, Raymond Robertson stepped up to convert and make it 3- 0 at the break.

Raymond Robertson scored again to complete his hat-trick with 50 minutes played.

JJ Grey pulled a goal back for Strathspey on the hour mark but a fourth goal of the afternoon from Raymond Robertson sealed a 6-1 win with 20 minutes still to play.

Lochcarron P Lochaber P

Second-placed Lochaber colts were left kicking their heels as the heavy rain led to the postponement of their match with Lochcarron at Battery Park.

Kilmallie P Boleskine P

The game between the Kilmallie seconds and Boleskine was postponed as the Canal Parks was unplayable.

Lewis Camanachd P Inverness P

Lewis Camanachd and Inverness were due to meet for the second time in four weeks, this time at Shawbost.

Inverness were unable to raise a team though so the match will be rescheduled for a later date.
