Fun and games at Caol Gala

CAOL Gala will re­turn on Satur­day 25 June, tak­ing place at the Bun-Sgoil Ghàidhlig, Loch Abar.

This will be the area’s sec­ond gala af­ter a lapse of around 10 years and the first at the Gaelic school, which has al­lowed more space for ac­tiv­i­ties.

Or­gan­is­ers are hop­ing for good weather but there will be fun and fes­tiv­i­ties for all ages come rain or shine, in­clud­ing fun­fare at­trac­tions, live mu­sic from the Lochaber wind band and a dance plat­form.

The Gala Queen and at­ten­dants will also be present af­ter be­ing picked in a bal­lot which took place in var­i­ous lo­ca­tions in the vil­lage.
