Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service

Do you care for or have you cared for someone with a cancer diagnosis or other long term health condition? Are you supporting someone going through treatments?

For anyone affected by cancer or other long term health conditions, Oban Library offers a one to one drop- in Macmillan Cancer information and support service on Wednesdays from 2.15pm to 4.15pm. Come and meet the team for a chat over a friendly cuppa.

There are always booklets on all aspects of being affected by cancer, as well as resources for other long term health conditions in the dedicated area of the library.

These are available to take whenever the library is open. The team can help guide you through the resources available. If you need information not on display we can help source this for you. There is also a private room for more personal discussions.
