Dancer closes tour with village show

AN AUSTRALIAN choreographer is bringing his one-man dance show to Craignish this Saturday.

Marc Brew will be giving the closing performance of his national tour at the village hall.

The show is described as ‘ a tender and intimate solo work which engages with his body as it is now for the first time since his car accident 18 years ago.

‘This new stripped-back and very personal solo investigates and exposes Marc’s changed form following his spinal cord injury, exploring what it is to be broken, reborn, purified, to reconcile being in the world in an entirely new way. The piece builds a dialogue around the transformation of Marc’s body with the choreographer and dancer confronting his most essential aspects in this distilled form.’

Entitled ‘For Now, I am’, the performance will last for approximately 40 minutes but is unsuitable for children under 12. The show begins at 8pm. For tickets, call 01852 500746.
