Officer did 109mph

A DETECTIVE from Scotland’s serious crime unit fell foul of traffic police at the infamous speed trap at Arrivain Farm on the A85.

Peter David McMillan, who lives in Argyll, was clocked at 109mph in his Jaguar on November 4 last year when off- duty.

Sheriff Ruth Anderson QC, at Oban Sheriff Court, fined the 35-year- old £250 and added nine penalty points to his licence.
