Oban Otters are in the swim

Trophy winners were: championship events – MacLean Cup, girls eight years and under: Molly Gilchrist; MacKay Cup, boys eight years and under: Joel Robinson and Connor MacAulay; Spence Shield, girls 9/10: Tayler Robinson; Hutchison Cup, boys 9/10: Kai MacKechnie; Achnacreebeag Trophy, girls 11 years and over: Abi MacIntyre; Larchfield Trophy, boys 11 years and over: Innes MacKerchar; ABCD Cup, boys 14 and over: David MacPherson.

Squad championship events – Columba Hotel Trophy, girls 10 years: Rachel Carre; Tyndrum Cup, girls 11 years: Jessica Main; Bank of Scotland Trophy, boys 11 years: Andrew Boyle; Intermediate Shield, girls 12 years: Jordan MacIntyre; Iona Shop Trophy, boys 12 years: Finlay McLuckie and Daniel Teape; Gateway Cup, girls 13 years: Freya MacKechnie; Forteith Cup, girls 14 and over: Ella MacKechnie; Hunter Cup, boys 14 and over: Sam Coates; Beaver Timber Shield, girls 14 and over (IM): Ella MacKechnie; Beaver Timber Shield, boys 14 and over (IM): Sam Coates. Ella MacKechnie managed to smash a whopping four records this year, one of which had stood since 1982.

Oban Otters held their club championships on Sunday May 29. Lots of excellent swimming and lots of fun. Pictured are all the trophy winners with representatives from ABCD, Nicky Campbell, Kath Miller and Betty Graham, who have kindly given the club sponsorship this year.
