Misuse of drugs alleged on beach
A HOLIDAYMAKER who allegedly smoked cannabis on the seafront was cautioned and charged by police on Saturday June 18.
The man, 35, from Edinburgh, was seen on the beach on Oban Esplanade by passers-by who detected a ‘strange smell’.
When approached by police the man was said to be in possession of a quantity of herbal cannabis, a class-B drug. He was cautioned and charged.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
