THE Colonsay Medical Equipment Fund committee is having a ceilidh on July 19 at 8pm in the village hall to raise funds for a range of medical equipment that would benefit the island and its many visitors. Over the past few years, the committee has raised sufficient funds to purchase two defibrillators, a medical equipment fridge, vacuum splints and other items.
