GMA drew level just three min­utes later when a Lyn­d­say Michie shy was swept into the net by Rachel McCaf­ferty.

GMA went in front a minute after the re-start when Alana McGar­rie forced the ball home fol­low­ing a scram­ble in­side the ‘D’.

Skye re­sponded well and when Lorna MacRae let an Ilana Pater­son cor­ner from the left run across goal, Caitlin Ma­cLean ap­plied the fin­ish­ing touch to make it 2-2.

The win­ning goal came on 62 min­utes fol­low­ing a swift Skye move which saw Jenna Beaton slip the ball to Lorna MacRae who ran to­wards the goal be­fore calmly fin­ish­ing to make it 3-2. This was an ex­cit­ing en­counter in front of a good sized crowd and there were a num­ber of Scot­tish in­ter­na­tion­als on show for both sides. Skye now know that a win against Aber­dour at Sil­ver Sands in their fi­nal league fix­ture will give them their first Marine Har­vest Na­tional Divi­sion 1 ti­tle.

Lochaber W/O v Aber­dour

Sec­ond-placed Lochaber were given a walk- over when Aber­dour were un­able to raise a team for their match at Spean Bridge.
