Video aims to held keep cyclists safe
A VIDEO has been released by Police Scotland that informs cyclists on how to keep their bikes in working order.
Constable Andy Whitlie, a serving policeman and keen cyclist, walks viewers through the mechanics of a bike and identifies key areas on the vehicle that need to be maintained to keep you safe while on the road. PC Whitlie also provides advice on the type of clothing and emergency kit cyclists should have with them.
The video was created as part of the Police Scotland’s vulnerable road users campaign and has been uploaded to the Facebook pages for Edinburgh, the Lothians and Scottish Borders, Fife and Forth Valley.
