Dunbeg pupils proudly show off their prizes
DUNBEG Primary School held its annual closing service and prizegiving in Dunbeg Church on Thursday June 30, writes Sandy Neil.
The service was conducted and prizes presented by the Reverend George Cringles, who retires during the next school session, and he was thanked for his commitment and contribution to Dunbeg Primary throughout his many years as school chaplain.
National Inspire>Aspire Commonwealth Citizenship Awards were also presented to two P7 pupils: Innes Munro came third out of 20,000 participants, and Noah Hwang also reached the finals.
The leavers were also thanked for all their hard work and fun with a film called The
Class of 2016, and afterwards the pupils sang happy birthday to their head teacher, Sine MacVicar.
