John wins fourth Glencruitten title

JOHN Plunkett won the senior championship at Glencruitten, Oban, on Saturday for the fourth time with net scores of 59 and 62 = 121.

John also leads the handicap championship with two rounds to be played.

John’s score of 121 is followed by Neil Carmichael on 125 and Alan Jamieson on 126.

The George Smith second round and championship second round take place on Saturday and there will be a Stableford on Tuesday.
