Caol-based building firm backs Cameron with £500 donation
Recently crowned schoolboy boxing champion of Great Britain, Cameron Whyte is presented with £500 by Caol-based DMD Construction to help him meet expenses for training and equipment. Fourteen-year- old Cameron, from Spean Bridge, trains locally every day, but also has to attend specialised sessions in Glasgow, Inverness and other locations, for which no financial assistance is provided. Lochaber Phoenix Boxing Club make sure he is taken to every session and has the right equipment, meeting these costs from club funds and from Cameron. The donation from Ewan, left, and Chris Donnelly was warmly welcomed by Cameron and the club to help ensure he has the right specialist equipment and can continue to represent Lochaber, Scotland and GB in the sport.
