SSF to sponsor Oban fireworks

SCOTTISH Sea Farms ( SSF) has again sponsored the annual Oban fireworks display with a £5,000 contribution.

Bid4Oban chief executive Derek Connery, pictured, confirmed the donation from SSF’s Heart of the Community fund is significantly more than they provided last year.

Mr Connery said: ‘ Once again the Heart of the Community Fund has lived up to its name in recognising this free-to-all event is for the benefit of the population of Oban and the surrounding areas.’

He added that he hopes to make this the ‘ biggest Heart of the Community fireworks ever.’
