Dancers set new record

A RECORD number of Highland dancers have signed up for next month’s Cowal Highland Gathering.

The event is set to welcome 684 dancers, an increase of around 40 from last year.

This year’s event will take place from Thursday August 25 until Saturday August 27.

The dancing competitions will start on Thursday with the Scottish National Highland Dancing Championships.
