Strip sponsors back for another season

FORT William Football Club’s (FWFC) two strip sponsors have agreed to continue their backing for the 2016/17 season.

For the upcoming season, the club’s home strip will be sponsored by D M Hall, local chartered surveyors, and the away strip by Korrie Mechanical and Plumbing.

Stewart Maclean, an FWFC director, said: ‘The ongoing support of these major sponsors is critical to the funding of FWFC for the 2016/17 season and for keeping the only team from the West Highlands and Islands in the Scottish Highland Football League.

‘ Without the support of D M Hall, Korrie and the other 40-plus local sponsors, we would be unable to meet the significant costs associated with FWFC, including meeting stringent SFA licensing requirements.’

Gary Duff, a director at D M Hall’s Oban office, said: ‘ We are delighted to continue our support of Fort William FC for another year.

‘Not only do the team represent their home town, they are ambassadors for the whole West Highland area in the intensely competitive arena of the Scottish Highland League.’
