School honours pupils’ success

A CELEBRATION of success was held at Ardnamurchan High School.

Teachers and students gathered and spoke of achievements by the student body, including Emma Cameron, who received Highland Young Musician of the Year award.

Head teacher Christopher Millar- Craig spoke of the uncertainty for young people over the recent referendum on EU membership but outlined the strong position the school is in for the year ahead.

In keeping with the school’s Gaelic ethos, the event, at the end of last month, closed with the young people’s Film G entry which was nominated for Best Mobile Phone Production, Mnathan, Ghasigich na h-Alba.
