Mundell keeps cabinet position
SECRETARY of State for Scotland David Mundell kept his position in new Prime Minister Theresa May’s recent cabinet reshuffle.
Mr Mundell, who visited Argyll earlier in the year, has vowed to work with the Scottish Parliament to get the best deal for the Scotland as part of Brexit.
Mr Mundell welcomed the news of his appointment. He said: ‘I am delighted to be reappointed as Secretary of State for Scotland, and to have the opportunity to build on my work over the past year.
‘ The Prime Minister has made it clear we need to unite the country and work for the best interests of everyone in Britain. ‘
