Appointments at sports association

NEW appointments were made at the recent annual general meeting of the Lochaber Sports Association (LSA).

Jane Blanchard stepped down as chairwoman but remains on the board as a director, while Helen Smith and Tom Cameron were welcomed as new directors.

A new chairperson is to be appointed at the next board meeting.

LSA is also looking for a new accountant or financial adviser.

John Mortimer was elected onto the grants and awards committee as treasurer.
