Friends take the plunge for charity

TWO FRIENDS will raise money for charity by swimming from Mull to Oban this Saturday.

Gemma Stewart and Gill Spink will take the plunge on behalf of the Roses Charitable Trust, which each year takes groups of young people from disadvantaged areas on residential breaks.

Gemma, who hopes her swim will raise awareness of the charity, said: ‘It offers young people amazing opportunities for adventures and challenges, that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to access.’
