Endurance athlete opens new café
A CAFÉ that showcases local produce was officially opened on Tuesday by a world record breaker.
Food From Argyll at the Pier, in Oban’s CalMac ferry terminal, welcomed Mark Beaumont to open the establishment.
The opening coincides with his ‘ Wild About Argyll’ challenge, a 12- day adventure across Argyll and the Isles.
Mark, who has broken a number of records, said: ‘ The café at the pier is a great initiative from Food From Argyll and I am delighted to be officially opening this gem.’
