ARGYLL and Bute’s MP is hoping to see establishments from his area win at this year’s Scottish Rural Awards.

Nominations for the awards, which recognise innovation, dedication and community spirit in Scottish rural communities, opened on August 1.

Brendan O’Hara said: ‘Throughout the length and breadth of Argyll and Bute I have seen many extraordinary examples of excellence.

‘I would like to see Argyll and Bute sweep the board for its commitment and innovation.’
