Children’s author in Ardnamurchan

AUTHOR Jenny Chapman will be at Ardnamurchan lighthouse visitor centre from noon till 4pm on Sunday August 7 signing copies of her latest books Tales from the Adventures of Algy and The Tree with a Golden Heart.

The stories all take place on the Ardnamurchan peninsula and feature Algy, a unique, charming fluff y bird who is washed up on a beach having travelled far across the ocean on a raft. The illustrated books are for children aged seven to 10, but are enjoyed by everyone with the youngest known Algy fan aged four and the eldest aged 89.
