A RUN the Runway event at Coll aerodrome raised £172.50 for Sport Relief.
Forty-three people ran or walked the one-kilometre distance, with Paula Smalley covering the furthest distance by walking the runway 11 times.
The fastest child aged five and under was Iain Alex Morrison, and visitor Jo Pryke won the six- to 11-year - old group. Ross Martindale was the winner in the 12 to 16 age group.
The fastest man was Jordan Kent, with Chloe Cranston the fastest woman. Thanks went to Tom Eddleston, station manager of Oban Airport, for his support in running the event and to fire safety officer Angus John Smalley and air ground operator Nangie Morrison for their help on the day of the event.
