Councils facing membership crisis

COMMUNITY councils in Lochaber will be formally dissolved if new members aren’t recruited before November.

Ardgour, Laggan and Mallaig community councils have failed to reform since last year’s election.

Following resignations, Acharacle and Fort William community councils are also below half their membership.
