Prisoner or war camp centenary

THE CENTENARY of the opening of Kinlochleven’s prisoner of war camp will be marked this Sunday in Kinlochleven High School and the Leven Centre.

As part of the programme, The Three Wee Crows theatre group will perform ‘Burning Heather, Broken Sons’ at noon. An exhibition of photos and archives will be on display and short plays by Kinlochleven youngsters will be performed around 3pm. Food and children’s activities will also be on offer. The event is free of charge but donations would be welcome.
