No Fuss Events – an evening with David Millar

SCOTTISH former profession­al road racing cyclist David Millar spent 17 years at the top of the sport, including a period when he was banned for drug taking, but came out the other side to compete again.

He went on to become an athlete representa­tive to the World Anti-Doping Authority and had a successful career before retiring in 2014.

A highly popular athlete with his colleagues, fans and the media, David is known for being erudite and articulate, while his offff off beat sense of humour has won him more than 150,000 followers on Twitter. David is a former member of the UCI World Tour pro cycling peloton. One of only two British cyclists to have worn the leader’s jersey in all three Grand Tours, he is also a former Olympic team captain, an author, media commentato­r, fififilm-maker, lm-maker, coach and entreprene­ur.

On November 14, 2016, at 6pm David will talk about his career, discussing points that can help others, including defifining defining success, crisis management and overcoming failure, what makes a great team, handling pressure and embracing change.
