op­por­tu­nity was snapped up by some thieves who broke into a prop­erty in Dun­beg be­tween 6pm and 9pm on Oc­to­ber 31.

The house in Lorn Drive was un­locked when thieves en­tered and took a num­ber of items.

A 43-YEAR- OLD woman was ar­rested by of­fi­cers af­ter test­ing pos­i­tive for al­co­hol in a breath sam­ple when she caught the at­ten­tion of of­fi­cers who saw her driv­ing in the Polvin­is­ter area of Oban. The woman, who was stopped at 5.15pm on Wed­nes­day Novem­ber 2, was re­ported to the procu­ra­tor fis­cal. A 28-YEAR- OLD man is al­leged to have been driv­ing at a speed of 57mph in a 30mph through the vil­lage of Lochawe.
