Islanders worried by thefts of fuel

ISLANDERS on Islay are reporting an increased number of fuel thefts from storage tanks in gardens.

Postmaster Alastair Redman said islanders were concerned about the rise in crime.

A police spokesman said people should take precautions to secure their fuel tanks and always lock cars and homes.
