Dentist retires but wants no fanfare

AFTER 30 years of looking after the teeth and gum health of islanders on Mull, Iona, Coll and Ulva the dentist ‘ with a van’ is retiring.

While dentist David Price doesn’t want any great fanfare for his retirement, Mull Community Council heard last week, he was noted for his dedication and the care he provided on the islands for the past three decades.

The community council officially thanked Mr Price for his dedication to all residents on the Mull and said that he would be almost impossible to replace.
