Successful time for swimmers

-

THE LAST six months as an affiliated club has brought great success as well as a very busy schedule for the Lochaber Leisure Centre swimmers.

The swimmers have travelled to Buckie, Tain, Inverness, Stirling and Aberdeen competing in training days and galas.

Swimmers Jenna MacLean and Evie-Jay Clark managed to get four of the qualifying times required to join the Scottish Regional Development Programme and they attended training sessions in Aberdeen.

A spokesperson for the club said: ‘It was a positive experi- ence for both of the swimmers who were given the opportunity to train with other elite swimmers, learn about nutrition and land-based training.’
