Al­l­ey­cats white­wash Bri­tish Le­gion 10-pin bowl­ing

AF­TER week eight of the Lochaber Build­ing Sup­plies 10-pin bowl­ing leagues at the Ne­vis Cen­tre in Fort Wil­liam, Al­l­ey­cats re­main in the lead of the scratch divi­sion with 32 points af­ter beat­ing sec­ond place team Bri­tish Le­gion Fort Wil­liam 5- 0.

Bri­tish Le­gion Fort Wil­liam stay sec­ond on 26 points. The Sham­bowls are in third place on 23 points. The hand­i­cap divi­sion is much tighter where Bri­tish Le­gion Fort Wil­liam re­main on top with 26 points de­spite go­ing down 5- 0 to Al­l­ey­cats. They are fol­lowed by The Sham­bowls in sec­ond place on 23 points and Al­l­ey­cats are next on 22 points.

In­di­vid­u­ally, the best game in week seven was a 183 from Tony White­locke, Al­l­ey­cats. He swept the board with the top hand­i­cap game of 219, the top two-game scratch series of 345 and the top two-game hand­i­cap series with 417.

The best team scores of the week came from Al­l­ey­cats, who had the top scratch game of 579 while Don’t Give A Split had the top hand­i­cap game of 762, the top two-game scratch series of 1,120 and the top two-game hand­i­cap series of 1,514.

The top scratch av­er­ages are cur­rently held by Pam Weller (Al­l­ey­cats) with 162 fol­lowed by Tony White­locke (Al­l­ey­cats) with 157 and Ben Weller (Don’t Give A Split) on 151.
