Mull road closed for a fortnight

THE B8035 on Mull was closed on Monday at Knock Farm near Gruline to allow urgent repairs to Knock Bridge over the River Ba.

The road will be closed for two weeks and Argyll and Bute Council hopes to complete the works within that period but warned it may take longer depending on what the workers find.

Meanwhile, there is an alternative route via the A849 and the southern section of the B8035.

The council has apologised for any inconvenience and will consider what weight restrictions will be necessary in the future.
