Swimmers announce big improvements

LOCHABER Leisure Centre swimmers have announced their big improvements of 2016. They are as follows: 50 Backcrawl – Matteusz 14s, Eilidh 13s, Indigo 11s; 100 Backcrawl – Evie-Jay 30s, Eva 27s, Alistair 19s; 50 Frontcrawl – Murray 13s, Ben Britton 10s, Lisa 9s; 100 Frontcrawl – Iona 23s, Kirsty 19s, Connie and Lauren 17s; 50 Breaststroke – Matteusz and Eilidh 19s, Eva 18s; 100 Breaststroke – Evaa 21s, Laurin 19s, Evan 16s; 50 Butterfly – Sean 15s, Laurin 14s, Freddie 13s; 100 Butterfly – Alice-Ann 31s, Kayleigh 18s, Rhianna 16s; 100 Individual Medley – Sean 51s, Matteusz 27s, Murray and Lisa 23s; 200 IM – Kai 42s, Alistair 35s, Jenna and Alice Ann 30s.

Spokeswoman for the swim team, Yvonne Clark said: ‘The constant improvements in the times made all the hard work worth it and long may it continue

‘This was well worth all the hard work, well done to everyone for your improvements last year and lets keep on doing every stroke like the last one ... only better.’
