Your pet is in good hands with Lochandubh Kennels

-

Set in secluded woodland 15 miles north of Oban, Lochandubh Kennels was first established in 1992. The family-run business is fronted by Fiona Woodhouse, along with her team of animal lovers.

Fiona tells us, ‘our aim is for your dogs stay here to be happy and stress free. We have 24 purpose built kennels, licensed for 40 dogs. We use sawdust in the kennels which keeps them dry and clean and the dogs are walked twice a day though woodland paths. The kennels have double glazed units along the front to keep the bad weather out but the dogs can still see what’s going on.’

The cattery was opened in 2007 and it has been designed and built to the highest specifications. With 8 chalets, licensed for 16 cats, all of their feline clients love the heated beds with spacious runs, it really is a home away from home.

There are also facilities to board any kind of small animal including hens.

Fiona adds, ‘ we have a lovely working line of Labradors which my daughter Anna-May and I work at the local shoots. I have a Black Labrador bitch who will be coming into season very soon and is looking for a handsome sire.

‘ You are very welcome to come and view our boarding facilities.’

All animals must be up to date with vaccinations and any current medical conditions must be discussed in full when you leave your treasured pet.
