Ris­ing stars at D M MacK­in­non Solic­i­tors

I left Oban High School in 1985, gained an BA (Hons) in De­sign at Gray’s School of Art be­fore qual­i­fy­ing as a teacher in Ed­in­burgh. I taught for a cou­ple of years then worked as a de­signer and lat­terly di­rec­tor of a UK jew­ellery com­pany. To es­cape the re­lent­less com­mut­ing, I then worked as of­fice man­ager for an Ar­chi­tect/ Prop­erty De­vel­op­ment Com­pany be­fore com­plet­ing the ac­cel­er­ated Law De­gree and Diploma in Le­gal Prac­tice. I moved home in 2010 to work with a lo­cal firm be­fore join­ing D M MacK­in­non in 2014. I be­came a Part­ner in 2016 and spe­cialise in res­i­den­tial and com­mer­cial prop­erty mat­ters. I am a for­mer pupil of Rock­field Pri­mary School and Oban High School. Af­ter ob­tain­ing an MA (Hons) in English Lan­guage, I then com­pleted the ac­cel­er­ated Law De­gree, both at the Univer­sity of Glas­gow This was fol­lowed by the Diploma in Le­gal Prac­tice at the Glas­gow Grad­u­ate School of Law. I re­turned to Oban and joined D M MacK­in­non in 2010 af­ter work­ing for three years in a com­mer­cial firm in Glas­gow where I spe­cialised in em­ploy­ment law. I be­came a part­ner in D M MacK­in­non in 2016 and my work cur­rently fo­cuses mainly on em­ploy­ment law and all as­pects of con­veyanc­ing.
