Ellie’s tartan touch and smiles at Lundavra primary Burns event

Ellie Eaton, who attends Lundavra nursery, was all smiles as she got into the spirit of Burns Day. All over Lochaber, schools, community groups, clubs and care homes have been enjoying celebrating Scotland’s National Bard. Lundavra pupils sang, recited poetry and enjoyed a variety of traditional Scottish foods. Lundavra teacher Alison Stephen said guest speaker Jim Sutherland, head teacher at Lochaber High School, ‘surprised everyone when he recited Holy Willie’s Prayer in his nightcap and goonie’.
